Dr. Tamara Staring:
After graduating from Ontario Veterinary College in 2002, Dr. Staring worked for several years in small animal practices and an emergency medicine practice before arriving at the Barrie Animal Hospital in 2009. In 2006, she discovered an interest in alternative therapies especially TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), and has since completed the certification process for acupuncture from IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society).
Dr. Staring is currently working toward her certification in herbal Chinese medicine from the Chi Institute. When not at work, Dr. Staring enjoys gardening, travelling and photography.
