Dr. Stephen Choles:

Dr Stephen Choles graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 1983. He worked in mixed veterinary practice in New York State before returning to Ontario in 1985. He then worked in a mixed practice in Bruce County for 9 years and then 10 years near Midland, Ontario. In 2004 Dr Choles started working at Barrie Animal and subsequently purchased the practice in 2009.

Dr Choles’ practice interest is small animal medicine and especially surgery. He also practices alternative medicine and became certified in Veterinary Homeopathy (Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy) in 1998 and Animal Chiropractic (American Veterinary Chiropractic Association) in 2004. He treats dogs, cats and horses with chiropractic adjustments.  He attends continuing education regularly to further his expertise in these three areas.

When not at work, Dr Choles enjoys horseback riding, canoeing, camping and working out.
